Hey. So this is a thread for the super-cast to discuss the aftermath of Superman: Rebirth and how we want to work it into the community. In the interests of spoilers I'm going to leave the opener empty but I can give anyone who wants a quick summary one below, just ask. Otherwise I'm going to assume you've read it through whatever means.

Yeah. It sounds like it could be added as "one more level of head-screwing machinations." And it neatly answers all the outstanding questions.

I think the level of "backgrounding" the new info is working well here, so far. I'm only a little conversant in the Super Books, but I think way the dual Supermen story has played out is consistent here, and you can decided where you're at in that journey.

Still scrapping Lex being a Lord of Apokolips, for logistics reasons, and still have him on his redemption arc. Which we ALL know will go perfectly fine and won't end disastrously at ALL!

I was wrong on that, by the way. He isn't Lord, yet, but he's prophesied to TAKE Darkseid's throne and still has his stolen Mother Box from his JLA days.

I'm sure arguably the biggest villain in the DCU is going to stay a rough good guy forever yes.

Yeah, when this breaks bad, it's going to break BAD. I like the idea of playing with his motivations and self-image, beyond just ego, but we aaaaaalllllll know where it eventually ends.
